Shelby was initially drawn to Urology for its diverse surgical interventions; however, she has continued providing urologic care because of the compassionate providers and staff and the resilient patients that she interacts with daily. Urological problems are difficult for many people to live with, let alone discuss, and she is proud to be the person who helps patients navigate these concerns. From BPH to kidney stones and everything in between, she enjoys making personalized care decisions along with her patients to improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Shelby likes to play tennis, travel, hike, and snowboard in the PNW mountains, tend to her house plants, and play board games with friends.
